Prequalification

Pursuant to the statute, this form gathers information about the subcontractors seeking to qualify for the work and provides a general format for the prequalification criteria.  Completing this questionnaire does not guarantee prequalification. Evaluation of the submittal shall be performed by the prequalification committee in accordance with GS 143-128.1, 143-135.8 and the State of NC Prequalification Policy.

What if I've already completed Part A for another State project?

If you have filled out Part A of the SCO prequalification form for another State project since 06/30/2024, please do the following:

1. Download and complete the project specific Part B

2. Email both your completed Part A and Part B to David Konopka, dkonopka@holder.com

What does my qualification status mean?

Upon submission of a completed prequalification form and evaluation from the prequalification committee, a decision regarding your firm's prequalification status for the scope of work of which you are prequalifying for will be rendered.  Please see below for each status and what that means for your firm on this project:

First Tier - Permitted to bid directly to Holder McFarland

Subtier - Not permitted to bid directly to Holder McFarland for this project BUT instead must seek potential involvement via a prequalified First Tier Subcontractor
